Past Class Projects
The capstone of every LMB leadership class is a project to benefit the city or local community. The class not only decides what project it wants to do but also completes the entire project as a team.
Class members are organized into committees to deal with specific needs of the project. They also make project presentations to the Manhattan Beach City Council, the County Harbor and Beaches Commission, the Downtown Business Association, Neptonian Society, and/or the various city commissions depending on the nature of the project.
There is a role for you. No matter what your talents or interests, there is a role for you in an LMB project and in the process you will learn how to be an effective member of a team and how to effect change in local government.
